Janeva’s Crockpot Pork Carnitas
This pork carnitas recipe is a favorite since it takes only a few simple steps before you have an amazing meal! We recommend using larger portions so that you can enjoy leftovers for the whole family.

Instructions
  1. Mix together all the seasonings in a small bowl.
  2. Rub the seasoning mixture over the pork roast using your hands and making sure entire roast is coated.
  3. Place the pork roast in a crockpot; pour the chicken broth around the sides of the roast being careful not to rinse off the spice mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low 10 hours; turn the roast after it has cooked 5 hours.
  5. Shred the pork with 2 forks and serve. Use the broth to moisten meat if needed, otherwise, discard any remaining broth.
  6. Ready to serve!
